Alabama White BBQ Sauce
About 90% of my family resides near Birmingham, Alabama. My mom is from Fairfield, and my Pops is from Epes, a small town along the Mississippi border. My girlfriend is from Hunstsville, and yep, we went to school in Mobile, AL! Needless to say, the Bama runs DEEP in my veins. So I decided to make my very own Alabama White BBQ Sauce; the sauce that this state has become oh so famous for. Texturally this sauce is silky smooth. Flavorfully, it’s tangy, peppery, a little smokey, and has a touch of sweetness! My favorite way to use this sauce is generously slathered on some smoked chicken. But this sauce is also good on grilled fish or roasted veggies. Get creative with your own utilization, it just might surprise you!
